Professional Development for Schools

CfBT Education Trust, one of the UK’s top 30 charities and an education provider for more than 40 years, has created a Professional Development Agreement (PDA) for schools, academies and free schools.
This annual partnership offers access to professional school services at different levels. All schools who buy a PDA are entitled to our Foundation Offer, which includes a dedicated website of resources, an e-mail support line, regular updates on cutting-edge education research, subject and phase specific newsletters and free places at a national education conference. This offer can be bought on its own but contains no units for additional services.
Prices for PDAs start at £900 for the Foundation offer (0 units). 
Packages then increase in relation to the number of units they contain. Units are used on education services according to the school's requirements:
Bronze (9 units)  Silver (25 units)  Gold (37 units)  Platinum (47 units)
All PDA holders can purchase additional units at reduced rates to top up their packages. For details of all of our package prices contact us.
Units can be used for any of CfBT's education services and have the following value:
  • 1 unit = 3 hours of specialist consultancy
  • 1 unit = 2 places at a 5 hour training course or conference
  • 1 unit = 4 places at a 3 hour training course or conference
  • 1 unit = 8 hours with an independent careers and guidance adviser
  • 1 unit = 8 hours with a behaviour support worker

Schools without a PDA can also buy services and products at stand-alone charges. If you are looking for one-off support on a specific area, one of our experienced project managers will work with you to create the most effective package.
